Single-Phase PWM Converter

(1) The first applet shows the time-behavior of the signals used for generating the switching signals of the power switches. Drag with the mouse the very left red point to increase or decrease the frequency of the triangular carrier signal uH which defines the switching frequency.
(2) Drag the red point on top of the sinusoidal reference signal uSt to change the amplitude of the reference signal. Drag the red point at the zero-crossing of uSt to change the phase of the reference signal (as compared to the sinusoidal inner load voltage uA).
(3) Drag the red point in the phasor-applet (bottom, right-hand) with the mouse to achieve the same results as described in (2).
(4) Drag the vertical red time-marker line in the second applet to define a point in time. The corresponding current flow is animated in the power circuit applet.
