Basic Thyristor Converter with/without Free-Wheeling Diode

(1) Click the symbol of the free-wheeling diode in the power circuit applet to activate or deactivate the diode.
(2) Drag the tip of the red arrow ("a1") in the upper time-behavior applet to change the firing angle of the thyristor.
(3) Drag with the mouse the red part of the symbol of the inductor in the power circuit applet to change its value. The value of the resistor can be change in the same way.
(4) Drag the time-marker (vertical red line) to define a certain time where the current flow is animated in the power circuit applet. (Only the time-marker in the upper time-behavior applet can be dragged.)
